    Leaves can also be used for roof or wall coverings in a shelter. Cultivation. after the harvest, dig up the plant. cut the root ball off and replant. If you have buds shooting off you can plant them in another location. They prefer moist nutruient rich soil, so compost and an irigation cycle may be nessisary.
